E-waste Disposal

12/23/2015

Pennsylvania’s Covered Device Recycling Act states that effective in January 2013, landfills may no longer accept electronics. These items must be recycled.

Tri-County Industries no longer collects:

  • Computer devices (including desktops and laptops)
  • Televisions (any type)
  • Electronic peripherals (keyboards, monitors, mice, printers and other electronic devices that connect to computers)
  • Cell phones

As a rule of thumb, anything with a circuit board should be recycled.

Electronics must be properly disposed of at any of these recycling locations.

We support these efforts to keep electronic devices out of landfills and ensure that their parts and materials are recycled appropriately. We thank you for doing your part in this step toward safety and sustainability!
