Tri-County Industries, Inc. Announces Driver of the Year for 2017

Tri-County Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipient of their 2017 Driver of the Year Award, Joseph Owens.  Joe is a Front Loader Driver in the Commercial Department and has been with the company for a remarkable 30+ years.  Joe has demonstrated excellence in safety, work ethic, customer service, and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.  Joe and his wife, Bonnie, are active members of the Jefferson County Longrifles and enjoy participating in the annual rendezvous where they reenact primitive camping in pre-1840s America.

In addition to being named Tri-County’s top driver, Joe has been nominated for Driver of the Year through the National Waste & Recycling Association.  This program honors those drivers who operate their trucks in a safe and responsible manner, have outstanding performance records, and whose contributions have enhanced the overall safety and image of the solid waste industry.  Congratulations and good luck, Joe!
